Siemens AG is one of the largest and most well-established electrical engineering and electronics companies in the world. The company was founded 160 years ago and uses its innovative technologies and extensive know-how to support customers in about 190 countries. The corporation is active in the areas of industry, energy, and healthcare.

Siemens therefore employs many translation and localization service providers for its various divisions and languages. So the statement "We work for all of Siemens AG" would not only be pretentious, but also dubious.

The following requirements and processes are an example of our co-operation with Siemens Frankfurt (Medium-Voltage Switchgear).

Siemens utilize the Across Language Server for translation and this is connected to their authoring system in order to automate the translation process as much as possible.

As a Certified Service Provider of Across, we are able to use crossgrid to accept the translation packages created by Siemens and immediately start our translation process. Translated documents are sent back using crossgrid, again enabling Siemens to implement a complete workflow without interruption.

Product catalogs created in Corel Ventura 10 present a particular challenge. Since this format is not supported by off-the-shelf translation memory applications, we use a series of more or less complicated scripts in order to translate the contents and deliver completely formatted Russian catalogs.
